🔎 About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join RIU Plaza The Gresham Dublin as a Senior Duty Manager. In this role, you will be integral in delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving operational excellence and supporting the key business. You will contribute to our commitment to excellence and innovation.
💼 What You’ll Do
Assisting the General Manager and Deputy General Manager with the day to day operation of the hotel
Management of all Fire, Health and Safety
Customer Care
Maintaining Quality of Service
Maintaining Standards
Staff Training
Flexibility
People management
Health, Safety & Security
To conduct fires and security floor walks during shift
To strive to protect the hotel from potential damage both physical and legal
To ensure all guests queries are handled promptly and efficiently
To deal with guest feedback.
To provide holiday relief in Food & Beverage Departments when required.
To ensure all guest requests are met or suitable alternatives suggested instead. i.e. Special dietary needs, VIP’s, Special Requests
To assist in maximizing revenues, cost percentages and menu structure through efficient management
To be aware of relevant competitor information and market changes to assist with initiating changes to our services / prices as appropriate
To constantly liaise with Room Service, Restaurant, Bar, and Conference departments to ensure all guest requests are attended to efficiently while meeting and exceeding standards.
✔️ What We’re Looking For
The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in this role in a busy hotel of 300 + rooms
Academic Hospitality Qualification desired but not essential
The role requires a hardworking, team player with excellent standards and an eye for detail.
Food & Beverage Supervisory/Management experience would be an advantage
Fluency in both written & spoken English essential

Gross salary: 35,000
Annual leave: 20 days per annum
